Frisco Lake Park improvements included replacing the existing pour-in-place surfacing with Playground Grass Ultra and removing the old pirate ship themed playground equipment. We then replaced it with:
a hillside slide built into a 4'x20'x25' mound surrounded by large boulders
Nature climbing features were added along with a sand play area where rocks were laid
At the Gillham Park Spray Ground, we installed Playground Grass Ultra on a sloped casual seating area.
The Liberty Community Center got Playground Grass Extreme along with a hopscotch Funsert to add additional play value to the playground.
Playground Grass Products
Playground Grass Ultra uses lightly textured polyethylene blades with a textured nylon thatch zone to create a full, dense and safe product. The fullness comes from the construction and the additional safety is a result of the AlphaSan® antimicrobial and XStatic anti-static technology that is manufactured into the blades.
Playground Grass Extreme is made up of two types of blades. It incorporates high durability and realism into one quality product. A combination of straight and curled blades help fill the product and reduce infill flyout.
